With showrooms still closed, trade shows canceled and travel limited, Hive Lighting has launched a new demo platform to make sure its customers can try out its latest lights via a new and free demonstration kit.  we wanted to make sure our lights could come to you. We have brand new demonstration kits available for free featuring:

The company hopes that this new demo platform can make it easier to try its Omni-Color LEDs.

If you go to the DEMO REQUEST FORM on the Hive Lighting website, you can fill out that form to receive a free week long demo of the lights you want to demo.

Hive Lighting is also offering options to talk to a product professional via live video conference to get a one-on-one demonstration of its products via Zoom or Google Meet.

You can also watch some of Hive’s demonstration videos on its YouTube channel.

Once you’ve done a demo and picked the lights of interest, they can be bought through one of Hive’s resellers, including B&HAbelCineMacCamAdorama, and CVP.

Motion capture systems developer Vicon is previewing a futuristic new “Mobile Mocap” technology at SIGGRAPH 2011 in Vancouver. Moving mocap out of the lab and into the field, Vicon's Mobile Mocap system taps several new technologies, many years in the making. At the heart of Mobile Mocap is a very small lipstick-sized camera that enables less obtrusive, more accurate facial animation data. The new cameras capture 720p (1280X720) footage at 60 frames per second. In addition, a powerful processing unit synchronizes, stores, and wirelessly transmits the data, all in a tiny wearable design.
