It’s not just jobs in the U.S. that are being threatened (and in some cases already decimated) by the WGA job action. Employment north of the border is also in jeopardy. Here’s an excerpt from ctv.ca, which was posted on Nov. 15.

Here at BTL we’ve received several emails announcing a “Back to the Table!” rally for Dec. 2, to rally support for the very idea of getting this strike negotiated and resolved.
The idea is to meet at Hollywood & Vine, and march to Hollywood & Highland…

A Thanksgiving surprise, indeed. Whether there will be anything “bountiful” to reap, for those involved, remains to be seen.
