Had the same happen with one of my axium checks yesterday.

What's the protocol? Can I expect to recoup those wages, or is this an enron-style washout?

I'm an ignorant broke production assistant, not certain what to expect from this.

Thanks.

Don't be so sure of your checks; one that I deposited last Saturday was returned today, so it had been presumed good by WaMu and credited to my account then, but didn't bounce 'til today.

The notice put out by the IATSE international said that they are still supposed to provide W-2's to employees who worked under them. If you dont receive a W2 by the 15th of February you should contact the IRS.

I literally got two checks today from Axium, cashed them, and then read this posting. Good news for me is that my checks seem to have cleared.
